We will be hosting a shimpan (judging in shiai/taikai) seminar in Portland, OR, put on by the PNKF and taught by Samkange Sensei. The information is as follows:

Even if you're not in bogu or just in bogu, you can get a lot of out a shimpan seminar. Learn why shimpan raise their flag, what is considered ippon (a valid strike), and get some shiai experience. For those who are higher rank, it's an opportunity to learn about doing shimpan before out there and doing it for real.
